Jamie Wyatt, a dedicated educator for 26 years is passionate about serving the students and families of
Palm Beach County School District. Throughout her career, she has been committed to establishing a
high-performance culture that guarantees “All” children will receive a high quality, rigorous education.

Ms. Wyatt began her teaching career in Volusia County. She then served as a Principal in the
Indianapolis Public Schools for six years and led two different Title 1 schools to making AYP. Ms. Wyatt
continued her career in the Palm Beach County School District. Her work as Principal of Melaleuca
Elementary resulted in improving from a “B” to an “A” and making AYP. She significantly decreased
suspension rates as Principal of Village Academy, the only K-12 model in the district.

Over the last six years, Ms. Wyatt has served as the Principal of Calusa Elementary and is proud to have maintained a high “A.” Her work at Calusa has led her school to being recognized as a model school for Rigor through the Marzano Rigor Pilot as well as being recognized by the state as a Gold Status PBS Model School. Closing the student achievement gap has been at the forefront of Ms. Wyatt’s career.

Ms. Wyatt holds Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education from Florida Atlantic University and a
Master’s of Science in Educational Leadership from Nova Southeastern University.

She enjoys spending time with her husband and two boys and playing tennis, running and exercising.
