Mr. Jeffrey Pegg has dedicated 36 years as a public school educator, with 32 of these years in the Palm
Beach County School District. Mr. Pegg has served many positions within the public school system such
as a teacher at elementary, middle, and high school levels, District ESOL (English to Speakers of Other
Languages) Coordinator, Assistant Principal, and Principal. He has extensive experience in high poverty
schools with multicultural populations and Title I status.

For the past 16 years, Mr. Pegg has served as principal of Wynnebrook Elementary School in West Palm
Beach, Florida. Wynnebrook Elementary is a neighborhood school with a variety of ethnicities and
cultures. It has a poverty rate of 94% and a minority rate of 93%. Under Mr. Pegg’s leadership,
Wynnebrook Elementary has earned an “A” grade from the state of Florida for the past thirteen
consecutive years. Mr. Pegg has served as Elementary Instructional Superintendent for Palm Beach County for two years.

Raised in the southwestern (Pittsburgh) area of Pennsylvania, Mr. Pegg graduated from California
The University of Pennsylvania in 1981 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education and a
minor in Early Childhood. He continued his education earning a Master of Science degree in Educational
Leadership from Barry University of Miami, Florida.
